BBQ Care

If properly cared for, the high quality BBQ units we stock will offer many, many years of cooking pleasure. The following tips apply to most BBQs (gas, electric, charcoal) and will ensure yours stays in tiptop condition. Remember a little regular effort will add years to its life.

Clean it every time

Each time you use your BBQ you must thoroughly clean it afterwards. Just follow these simple steps.

1. Brush it down

Using a wire brush, thoroughly brush off all surfaces. This will prevent grease and food from building up and hardening.

2. Use baking soda for added polish

Baking soda is wonderfully effective for a final clean and polish. Use it on knobs and handles etc.

3. Oil it up

Lastly, apply a light film of cooking oil to all surfaces. It is essential that it has fully cooled down before doing this.

4. Keep it covered

If your barbecue is exposed to the elements, you will need a cover to protect it.
